About Us

NOESANTARA

We're a bunch of Indonesians who really love our country for its various and unique cultures and traditions. We come from different background and we work in different fields of work. Some of us are web/system developer, researcher, entrepreneur, writer and editor, teacher, translator, government / private employee, blacksmith, sculptor and painter. We're also from different ethnic and place of origins, such as Aceh, West Sumatra, North Sumatra, Java, Lampung, Banten , Bima and Komoro. Some of us are collectors, i.e. weaponry, coin, antique, stamp and textile collectors. It's been years that we have this hobby. Some of our collections would be listed at ebay.

Our vision is to do the best we can to preserve, revive, promote and introduce Indonesians' unique and interesting traditions and cultures. And to help marketing and managing qualified products created by micro and small entrepreneur that we've selected. Most of Income will be used in good way for research and restoration, improve the product quality, reduce cost of production, fund and manage the micro and small entrepreneur.
 

Who We Are?

Prianata (on the left), is a father of 2 daugther and a fulltime web/system programmer & analyst on a Software house in Jakarta. He is a silat practioner ( cimande style and sundanese style). He has a lot of interest on silat traditional and their preservation. He gave a lot of contribution of our edge weapons design and tester in term of silat point of view. He also responsible for taking care the communication with the craftman. His responsibility in Noesantara are for making / creating attractive and functional design.

Deti, she is a prianata spouse, a house wife. Like most of house wife in indonesia, she is giving their best support and understanding for supporting their husband chasing their dreams :)

Remmy (on the right), is a father of 18 months old baby girl is an accountant working on telecommunication company in Jakarta, his responsibility in Noesantara mainly on customer service area, making / editing of english translation and taking care of international communication.


Usep (on the right),he is prianata close relative. He is one of our busiest person in noesantara :). He is taking care the box, packaging and shipping. He and some of his friend making the box from the scracth,profiling the sponges to fit the pieces and go to post office to post. He is also responsible to transfortation and accodation anywhere we go when we pick up the merchandise from the craftman house. FYI, most of our craftman living in very remote area where the post office and bank unvailable so at leat once a month we have to pick up and paid with cash :) And others member that has been our valuable contributors :)
